Google My Business is always a game changer for the locally based business owners and it help customers to call a service provider near their area or to find the route to visit any location through maps.
As you already know Google always make new updates in the tool in order to provide more details to customers if they search something locally, which further help business owners to update their business details in order to make their GMB listing standout from others.
This time Google By Business has come up with an amazing feature of “Call” through which Listing owners can now be able to track and see the their call history in detail for;
- Number of calls generated (Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Basis)
- Trends of customer phone calls by Day of week or Time of day
- Call locations and demographics
- Calls you missed from customers
Apart from this, the calls you get from the Google My Business listing will now come with a short message “Call from Google” at the start of each call so you listing owners can identify the call is coming through the Google Listing.
A Key Note: Any call details will last long for 45 days only which means if you missed any call make sure to take actions on that number before 45 days only.
Google is still in the testing phase for this “Call” feature because only few listings got this feature enabled at the moment.
